A short romantic erotica read that had me turning the pages until it was finished. It was an overall good story and I will be following this author.
A smart romance that will satisfy existing fans and likely bring new ones to the table.A poignant, thought-provoking love story on many levels and i am looking forward to reading the next series on Kate & Nate.
Kate and Nate are two co workers who decide to take a drive together to an isolated beach in California. The writing of the story was very descriptive and I almost felt as if I were at the beach with them. The end of the story gets pretty heated so if you are not a fan of erotica you might want to steer clear. The book did have some romance in it, which in my opinion makes up for the erotic parts. Great read.
Short and sweet, good character development, well-written dialogue. Sure to please those who enjoy this kind of reading.

A brief fling of a book that kept me interested to the end. Great for readers who wish to finish in one sitting (so to speak). Hopefully in Book 2 we'll get a little more of the backstory.
A Day Away is a short story about two friends who spend the day together and decide to take their relationship up to the next level. Kate picks a secluded beach for their day and packs a delicious basket for lunch. After they eat, she flirts with Nate and has him rub oil all over her body. The story is told from his perspective. He is not sure if she wants to remain friends or get romantic. As the day progresses, they go swimming in the beach. Let's just say they get together. This book is a series and I read the first installment. It was well written, erotic, and entertaining. I liked the characters and want to know more about them. Overall, I would give this short a 5/5 star rating for romance lovers.
